Why it matters

According to published research from Princeton University psychologist Alex Todorov, people respond intuitively to faces so rapidly that our reasoning minds may not have time to influence the reaction — and that our intuitions about attraction and trust are among those we form the fastest. Don’t discount the message you are sending with your portrait. It doesn’t matter what kind of business you are in. If your headshot is out there right now and you don’t feel great about it, change it — and what it says about you.
